International Women's Expo
The International Women's Day Expo on the Central Coast went off with a bang at the Ourimbah Unviersity campus on Saturday. Hundreds of Central Coasters attended the Expo and were treated to a smorgasboard of guest presenters, stalls, sword-fighting (or should I say light-sabres Star Wars style), and food galore.
Wow Girls, an initiative developed by entrepreneur Yvonne Lamont that supports women and local businesses throughout the Central Coast, set up the 'Circle of Wisdom'. Guest speakers inspired, motivated and shared their experiences against the majestic back-drop of the Ourimbah campus lake.
Adriana presented 'Tip-Toeing into the future' - a remarkable story of risilience, courage and hope. Emerging from a violent coup in Uruguay, surviving abuse, divorce, and cancer, Adriana shares how she overcame all the odds and developed her gift with healing others - a true story of the Phoenix soaring high above the ashes.
